Dogs are absolutely easy to become devoted too! I love dogs! It's St Patrick's Day this weekend so I wondered what I could post on my blog different than last year. I've been creating a lot of really nice quality dog quotes these past few months.

Online I found some stunning photos of dogs so I decided to create several dog quotes with lovely dog photos. Many people have enjoyed and commented on these dog quotes that I just created. I thought that this may be a fun way to celebrate St Patrick's Day this year by posting some new ones that I just created.

Probiotics for Dogs

#probiotics for dogs #probiotics for dogs’ skin #probiotics for dogs natural #probiotics for dogs with diarrhea #probiotics for dogs’ benefits #probiotics for dogs’ side effects

Many probiotics carry amazing health benefits for dogs … but not all probiotics!
I wonder can I give my dog probiotics? Are human probiotics safe for dogs?

What are Probiotics?

Probiotics are live microorganisms that live in various parts of your dog’s body like the gastrointestinal tract, the oral cavity, vagina, nasal cavity, respiratory tract, the organs and on the skin. It literally means “life.”  They are “good bacteria” that keeps the body in a good healthy balance.

Probiotics are beneficial bacteria that live in the digestive tract. There are a variety of different species belonging to genera that include Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, Streptococcus, and Enterococcus (often abbreviated by first initial only in names). Some species, such as Lactobacillus, live primarily in the small intestine, while others, such as Bifidobacteria, reside in the large intestine (colon).

Just like humans, the majority of a dog’s immune system resides in his gut. The gut is the largest immune organ in the body and contains approximately 70% of all immune cells. So, keeping your dog’s digestive system running optimally is essential to making sure that he stays healthy, active, and lives a full and healthy life.

Christmas Dog Rescue

#Christmas dog rescue #Christmas dog charity #Christmas foster dog #Christmas adopt dog #adopt a dog over Christmas

It's December and Christmas will soon be here. Christmas is such a special time of the year, it's a time to spend with your families. Speaking of family, a lot of people adopt dogs at this time of the year. There is no better gift than to adopt a dog or a pet at this time of the year and give a dog a home. A dog that loves and cares for you is one of the best gifts that you can give to yourself besides giving that special dog a home, a family that loves and takes care of them.

Here are some good reasons to adopt a dog over the holidays:

Many people have more time to stay at home with their family and their new dog so the dog can get used to his new place.

A pet dog has a calming effect on people. When one pet or strokes the dog it sends calming endorphins to the person. The Christmas season can be so stressful on all. The stores are packed with people doing Christmas shopping. The grocery stores are busy with people getting their food for over the holidays. Won't it be wonderful to get home and sit down on the sofa and your wonderful dog comes up to you to be petted and loved. In no time that dog will be cuddled up next to you and lift your spirit up.

A lot of animal centers seem to get busy over the holidays with new animals that need care. When you adopt a dog you make room for more animals that need care.

Some animal centers have special Holiday programs to help dogs to find new homes.

At Christmas time we worry about our dogs tipping over the Christmas tree or tearing open our presents, but what about dogs who chew on the tree?

Protecting And Securing Your Christmas Tree Tips

Small adjustments are all you need to keep your cats and dogs safe this holiday season. Here's a list of tips to use when putting up your Christmas décor:

1. Take your pets out of the room when decorating - Make sure your pets are out of sight while installing holiday decorations. Pets may think you're playing a game with the decorations when moving them around, which could encourage them to swat or pick at them later.

2. Select the right location for your trees and decor - Choose a location that is not cramped or beside any other fixture. Never place wreaths, swags, or other décor that can easily be swiped off in the middle of the coffee table. The best place for these items is hanging high on a wall or door.

You can also use Mantel Swags instead of garlands to decorate your mantel since these don't hang off the edges of the mantel. In other words, keep things high from the pets.

3.  Keep your tree stable - Make sure to use a strong and stable base for your tree. This significantly lowers the chances of it toppling over if brushed by a nosey pet. It's also a good idea to anchor your tree against a wall, if possible.

4.  Wrap tin foil around the trunk of your tree -  Dogs don't like to brush against tin foil. Wrapping foil around your tree is an effective way to dissuade your pets from gnawing on or playing with the trunk.

5.  Make your tree's water container inaccessible - Don't allow pets to drink from your tree's water container. Stagnant tree water is a breeding ground for dangerous bacteria that can harm pets if ingested. Use a receptacle that can be covered. If you can't locate a proper cover, simply hide the basin underneath the tree skirt.

6.  Use a short extension cord - Pets love to play with long and tangled electrical wires, so opt to use a short extension cord with little slack when assembling your Christmas décor. Another smart tip is to tape wires down to the floor or against the wall to prevent pets from playing with loose and moveable sections. If possible, you should also hide all cord ends and sockets from your pets.

7.  Get an automatic shut-off extension - Consider using electrical cords that automatically shut off once they are damaged. This feature will help keep your pets
safe from electrocution, should they start playing with and exposing live wires.

8.  Turn off the power when you leave the house - Don't forget to turn off the power and close off your holiday-decorated rooms when you leave your home or go to
bed. This guarantees your trees and ornaments will stay safe even when you're not around.

Mayor of Massachusetts takes his dog on his final road trip

Guide to Japanese wolf dog, Massachusetts mayor takes a terminally ill dog to B.C., Japanese wolf dog breed, japan wolf dog

#Japanese wolf dog #Massachusetts mayor takes terminally ill dog to B.C. #Japanese wolf dog breed #japan wolf dog

I saw this heartwarming story online and wanted to share it about a dog owner who loved his dog who was terminal with cancer. He wanted to spend some time with his special dog as Mura only had months to live.  What an emotional and precious feeling that someone would love their dog enough to do this for them.

Paul Heroux found out that his 10-year-old Japanese wolf dog had just months to live, he set out on a man-and-his-dog road-trip that crisscrossed North America and included a stop on Vancouver Island to visit the place where Mura was born. Man and his terminally ill dog go on road trip special visit to Vancouver Island

Mura was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma, an aggressive form of blood cancer, in September and by October, the pair was on the road.    Massachusetts mayor travels to victoria during cross country journey with dying dog

Paul hasn't been apart from his dog since he got Mura as a puppy. “It sounds corny but we were instantly attached,” he said of their first meeting. “She paired with me immediately.”

Mura would accompany her owner, who also happens to be the mayor of Attleboro, on door-to-door campaign visits, trips to seniors homes and to the state capital. She would dutifully walk by his side during parades and countless public engagements.

“She’s my family, I take her everywhere I go,” Heroux said.

Many Reasons Why Dogs Are Better Than Most People?

Guide to dogs are better than people, dogs are the best, dog and human love, dog and human connection, dog and human relationship facts, dog and human breed,
dogs are people too, dogs are better than humans status, why a dog is a better pet

#dogs are better than people #dogs are the best #dog and human love #dog and human connection #dog and human relationship facts #dog and human breed
#dogs are people too #dogs are better than humans status #why a dog is a better pet

Most people that love their dogs prefer to have company with their dog rather than
other people. One of the main reasons is that dogs are part of our family. Almost all dogs
have these special qualities in common. This is why dogs are very special.

Dogs are always referred to as "man's best friend."  Even man is not "man's best friend."
No bond can compare to that of a person and their dog.

Dogs are selfless, extremely loyal, and lovable. There is an innocence about them. They aren't
acting out their own agenda to see what they can get from you.

When deciding between dogs and humans, there really isn’t much of a debate about who is kinder, more loving, and more fun to be around. Humans can be cool, but no one can make you feel more happy and loved than a dog can. Who is always excited to see you and will never fail to pick you up when you are feeling down?

1. Most of our dogs learn things fast as they are intelligent.  1.

2.  Dogs are always happy! They love us, smile at us and greet us with so much love. When we're gone for an hour, all day, etc. the dog is
so happy to see you.

3.  They're good for our health, as they calm us down and lower our blood pressure.

4.  What a great capacity to smell better then we do.

5.  Our pet dogs seem to all know the best places to sit or lie down. They know the best places in the house.

6.  Dogs mature faster than we do.

7.  For some reason dogs can detect cancer in their owners. They also can tell if their owners blood sugar levels are too low and help people with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder have a normal life. Medical science is finding more
areas where dogs outshine others in helping people.

8.  Natural cleaners as they clean up the food that is dropped around the house.

9.  Most dogs have better physiques than we humans do. They're in much better shape.

10.  They put us first with their selfless behaviour.

11.  Fur babies are really cute.

12.  My dog will listen to every word that I say unlike some humans.

13.  A dogs love can warm up any soul.

14.  Some dogs are hard workers.

15.  One of the best parts of owning a dog is that they are always happy to see you!

16.  Dogs love people and people love dogs.

17.  If you want a new best friend just go to any animal shelter and pick out your new dog.

18.  We love to spend time with them and make them happy.

19.  Dogs can get you away from people by taking you for a walk.

20.  Attention  grabbers when you walk them. They're the star.

21.  It's pretty easy to love dogs.
